Why ReGen’s Model Is Viable
A Systems Perspective on Integration
The ReGen Fit
-
Efficiency: Designed for ~$18.50 per student implementation.
-
Co-Design: Built with input from rural educators.
-
Scalability: A "Plug-and-Play" model for any vulnerable school.
-
Resilience Layer: We add a "survival filter" to existing subjects.
ReGen works because it aligns with existing systems rather than trying to replace them. We understand that the "system" is composed of overworked teachers, underfunded schools, and complex local governance. Our model integrates with public schools, offering support tools that fit into the cracks of the current infrastructure. We don't ask schools to throw out their science curriculum; we give them the tools to make that curriculum survivable.
Viability comes from "context-fit." Our tools are low-cost, adaptable, and co-designed with the very teachers who use them. Our digital layer is an enhancement, not a requirement, making it viable for the most remote school in the Himalayas as well as an urban center in Kathmandu. By focusing on a "low-cost package" for adaptation, estimated by UNICEF at roughly $18.51 per student, we prove that resilience doesn't have to be expensive.
By focusing on emotional resilience and crisis-ready pedagogy, ReGen fills a critical gap that traditional textbooks leave wide open. We aren't adding a new subject to the curriculum; we are adding a new "survival layer" to everything they already learn. This systemic approach ensures that our impact is sustainable and can be scaled across different regions with minimal friction.
