At Tri Padma School, 52 bright young students stepped into our 90-minute climate literacy workshop with curiosity, energy, and a little nervousness. We used interactive tools like flashcards, UNO cards, and activities on the Sustainable Development Goals to keep learning simple, fun, and relatable. By the end, more than 80% of the students could correctly identify SDG 13 — Climate Action, a powerful step toward connecting global challenges with their own world.

The highlight of the session was creativity in action. Children wrote small but heartfelt poems and sketched out “green futures,” each piece showing how they imagine a healthier, more hopeful tomorrow. One group drew trees taller than buildings, another described schools powered by the sun.

At Tri Padma School, students from Grade 6 and 7 joined our 90-minute climate literacy workshop.

Who joined
52 students took part in a 90-minute climate literacy workshop filled with energy, questions, and new ideas.

Starting with connection
The first 15 minutes were all about ice-breaking games that warmed up the room. By the end of this segment, almost 70% of students were already voicing how they notice climate in their daily lives — from hotter summers to water shortages.
